Air Force SO Requirements

Team DF-SO

 Team Member Requirements for Team DF-SO:

 The list of requirements to join Team DF-SO as a team member is as follows. Failure to comply to these requirements will result in the member intending to join the Team DF-SO being unqualified and not eligible for the team.

1. Council Requirements
The council has the right to the bases of the team. The council requirements include guidelines of each division draft. Below is the brief sub list of Council Requirements:

A. testing to be on a SO Team should be determined by the CO of the respective Division. (Some Standards may be higher and some lower.)

B. Only respective division member may be on the respective SO Team.

C. |C| Status members cannot be qualified for any SO Team. They must be transferred to the respective division and remain a member in that division for 1 month (30 days), then he/she may be a possible candidate for the SO Team.

D. Honorable or special member may not be added to any SO Teams

E. Removal or additional member of a SO is up to the CO of the respectful Division.

F. Division testing procedures/records must be sent to the council for future references

G. If a SO member is removed (by either own will or CO’s choice), may not join any SO or SSF team within a year (360 Days).

H. Once a team member is promoted to a SO Team, they have left their original team. Team tags must be changed.

I. SO team member may be dropped into a normal team in the division after talking to the CO of the Division.

J. Any question about the requirements for the Division are/are not listed should be directed to the CO and XO of the Division
 

2.  Candidates must have there own Counter- Strike Account:

Each applicant should have there own Counter-Strike ID and Account. Members are not permitted to allow others to use this Counter-Strike account. (No Friends or Family) If your account is caught using hacking software there will be no excuses for your actions.

3. Candidates must have an active and valid E-mail address:

All members planning on joining DF-SO must have an active and valid E-mail address; this e-mail address should be checked daily for updates from the division CO, XO, the teams Team Leader or Drill Sergeant regarding team updates.

4. Candidates must have XFIRE installed on their system:

XFIRE must be installed on the candidates system to provide instant communication in game and out of game. XFIRE will not be required to be running during scrimmages but will be required during normal play. Each candidate must be an active user of this software.

5. Candidates must have Ventrilo installed on there system:
Ventrilo will be used as the primary communication software during scrimmages. It ensures that safe and efficient communication is available. (Example: In scrimmage on the opposing teams server the opposing team turns Alltalk on to listen in on your communication, Ventrilo prevents this)

The candidate is required to have Ventrilo working on there system and to learn how to use it.

Ventrilo is available to download at www.Ventrilo.com. The XA Ventrilo Server IP will be provided to candidates upon acceptation into the team.

NOTE: Ventrilo requires a microphone.
NOTE: Ventrilo is not to be used while playing on XA Public Servers

6. Candidates must own a Microphone:

A microphone will be used as the primary communication device during scrimmages/practices. It allows for quicker communication and can be more efficient then typing. Ventrilo requires a microphone hence all candidates require one.

7. Members of Team DF-SO must be present at all Practices/Scrimmages:
The Team Leader of Team DF-SO will determine Practice times and dates. All members of DF-SO must make all practice times assigned by the Team Leader.

The Team Leader and Drill Sergeant may set up scrimmages for team DF-SO and all members of DF-SO must attend these scrimmages unless notified by the Team Leader or Drill Sergeant.

If you cannot make the assigned practices set by the Team Leader you may contact him/her and request the times be altered. (The Team Leader DOES NOT have to comply with this. If this is the case and you cannot make practices you will be removed from DF-SO)

8. Candidates/Members must comply with all XA Clan Rules found at: http://www.clanxa.com/rules.html 

Failure to comply will result in immediate removal from Team DF-SO with no exceptions.

Team Leader Requirements for Team DF-SO:

The CO and or XO of the Air Force Division will select the Candidate(s). If you feel that there is someone (or you) who was not elected by the CO and or XO to become a Candidate for the Team Leader of DF-SO you may E-mail the CO and XO of the division regarding the matter. (There is still no reassurance that this person will be selected)

The following is a list of requirements for the candidate(s) for Team DF-SO Team Leader.
 
1. The Candidate must possess all requirements for Team DF-SO

2. The Candidate must be on team DF-SO for more that a one month (30 Days)

3. The Candidate must follow all XA Clan Rules found at: http://www.clanxa.com/rules.html

4. The Candidate must be friendly with all members of team DF-SO and must be in communication with all of them constantly.

5. The Candidate must have an active and valid e-mail address. The Team Leader will be directly communicating constantly with all members of DF-SO, the Team DF-SO Drill Sergeant, and the Division CO and XO. It is recommended that the Team Leader Candidate checks E-mail regularly and more often then the required once a day.

6. The Candidate must be able to work well under stress and be able to lead his team. A stressed Team Leader isn’t a Team Leader.

7. The Candidate must be trusted by higher admins and clan leaders.
8. The Candidate must have League experience and must have knowledge on several different Counter-Strike Leagues including the rules of each league. If the Candidate is made the Team Leader of DF-SO it will be their responsibility to provide each team member with information and rules regarding the league the team may be entered in.

9. The Candidate must be able to come up with new tactics and must be able to provide a instant tactic or strategies in any situation during scrimmages to ensure the success of your team.
10. The Candidate must have the ability to teach. Being able to play the game is one thing, being able to teach your team strategies and how to become a better player is another.

11. The Candidate must have map knowledge and be able to provide several strategies for each:

12. The Candidate must have support from both the CO and XO. This means that the CO and XO must both approve the Candidate. If approved the Candidate will be able to arrange a test date with the CO and XO.

Team Leader Testing Procedure for Team DF-SO:

1. If the Candidate is approved by the CO and XO the candidate can arrange a time and date for a Team DF-SO Team Leader Test. Due to the importance of this position both the CO and XO will attend this test. The map will be selected randomly from the list of maps in Team Leader Requirements for Team DF-SO: Requirement #11. The members who attend this test will be pre contacted by the XO of the Air Force and there presence will be requested.

2. Both teams will consist of 5 members.

Team #1: This team will be leaded by the Candidate, the CO of the Air Force division will play on Team #1 to evaluate and grade the Candidate on there strategies, efficiency, amount of stress, and leadership skills.

Team #2: a pre assigned member whose presence was requested will lead this team. It will be his/her job to organize Team #2 enough to attempt to complete the objective.

The XO: The XO will be a spectator during this match, he will provide end of game evaluation notes to the CO in a conversation on an instant messenger program. (The XO will also record a demo of the Candidate) The XO will also set all server specifications, No other admin may do this because the XO will ensure it is completed correctly (ex: Alltalk 0)

3. Team #1 will start as Counter-Terrorist and Team #2 will start as Terrorist. There will be 30 rounds total and each half will be divided into 15 rounds. After the first 15 rounds Team #1 will switch to Terrorist and Team #2 will switch to Counter-Terrorist. The Candidate should understand how the scoring in this works because it is a requirement to become a Candidate. (Team Leader Requirements for Team DF-SO: Requirement #9)

4. After the 30 rounds are completed the Candidate, The Team Leader of Team #2 and the CO will join the Counter-Terrorist Team and all other players (Except the XO) will join the Terrorist force. (The XO Remains as Spec and continues to view the match)

This time there will only be 20 round divided into 10 half’s. After the first half the teams will switch up and it will go another 10 rounds.

5. After the test the XO will set all server configs back to how they should be. The CO will now grade the Candidates performance and the XO will type up and review his performance notes so it can be electronically transferred for the CO to view. After both the performance Notes and CO Grading has been exchanged both the CO and the XO will have a private conversation on an instant messenger program, Together the CO and XO will re evaluate the Candidate for a final mark. It is recommended that the CO and XO save the chat log for this conversation to use as future reference.

CO Grading:

Candidates pre-made Strategies      20%

Candidates Efficiency      20%

Candidates Amount of Stress (The Higher the mark the lower the Stress)      30%

Candidates Leadership Skills       30%

Overall Grading: (Overall is determined between the XO and CO in conversation)

CO Grading      55%

XO Evaluation      45%

The passing grade to become the Team Leader of DF-SO is 85%

Failure to gain an overall mark of 85% will result in the Candidate staying on DF-SO as a regular team member. The member will not be eligible for another Team Leader test for 6 Months (183 Days) in which case if a new Team Leader has been assigned the member is still not eligible for a Re-Test.

Note: Due to the XO watching from spec if the Candidate is caught ghosting he/she will be removed form the Air Force Division.

Drill Sergeant Requirements for Team DF-SO:

The following is a list of requirements for the candidate(s) for Team DF-SO Drill Sergeant:

1. The Candidate must possess all requirements for Team DF-SO

2. The Candidate must be on team DF-SO for more that a month (30 Days)

3. The Candidate must follow all XA Clan Rules found at: http://www.clanxa.com/rules.html

4. The Candidate must have an active and valid e-mail address. The Drill Sergeant will likely be directly communicating constantly with all members of DF-SO, the Team DF-SO Team Leader, and the Division CO and XO. It is recommended that the Team Drill Sergeant Candidate checks E-mail regularly and more often then the required once a day.

5. The Candidate must be trusted by higher admins and clan leaders.

6. The Candidate must also have knowledge or the maps provide: Team Leader Requirements for Team DF-SO: Requirement #11

7. The Candidate must be able to assist the Team Leader in teaching new tactics and strategies.

Drill Sergeant Assignment Procedure for Team DF-SO:

1. The Team Leader of DF-SO will decide on a Drill Sergeant Candidate for Team DF-SO and will send a request to the Division XO who will then forward it to the CO. This request is to remain confidential between the Team Leader, XO and CO.

2.  The CO and XO will discuss this recommendation by the Team Leader via E-Mail or Instant Messenger. If the CO and XO feel that the Candidate fills all the requirements and is worthy of the position the Candidate will be assigned as the Drill Sergeant of Team DF-SO.
